Love God Through Worship
In Luke 4:8 we are taught from Jesus words that we are to worship God. Today when we think of worship we think of the time of music and singing during a church service.  While worship is more than an hour of week spent singing to God, that hour is a starting point for a life of worship to flow from.  The second step in your journey to Love God is making a commitment to be a part of one of our worship services every week. The following components of loving God are also forms of worship.

Love God Through Obedience
John 14:15 says, "If you love me, you will obey what I command." (NIV)
When Jesus says obedience he does not just mean what we do not do.  He also means obedience in doing what he asks us to do through serving him with our lives. At BCCC we have many opportunities for you to serve in one of our ministry areas.  Our Ministries section provides you with information about many of the ministries we have for you to serve in.  Serving God is a key component of loving God through obedience as you strive to grow in living a life that glorifies Him. Discuss your results with one of our ministers to learn how you can be obedient in service.

Love God Through His Word
The Bible is God's love letter to each and every one of us.  To love God we have to know him personally.  The Bible is the primary way in which God allows us to know him.  To love his word is to Love him.  Loving God through His word means setting aside time daily to read to get to know God by reading the Bible.  Joining in one of our Sunday Bible Fellowships, or Connection Small Groups is also a crucial part of growing to Love God through His Word.  The following links provide additional tools to help you in your reading and study journey.

Love God Through Prayer
Not only does God allow us to read about him, he allows us to talk to him in prayer.  Prayer is going beyond reading his letter to bringing yourself to him by talking to him.  Prayer is bringing your needs, your desires, your struggles, and your praises to the God who promises to hear you.  To Love God through Prayer is coming to him daily with heart felt sharing of your life with him through your words in prayer.
